Diagnosis Measures 23 mm in diameter, moderately thick jelly and very fragile; distinctive long nematocyst tracks running upward from every tentacle base of the exumbrella; 4 lightly ruffled lips on the manubrium and without gastric peduncle; each gonads with at most 20 irregular vertical folds, covering the entire stomach and extending out along the 4 radial canals; 44 tentacles of different sizes; laterally compressed tentacle bulbs clasp the bell margin, each has a red ocellus; transparent umbrella with white gonads and pale yellow tentacle bases (Ref. 2376).
