Diagnosis Trunk relatively compact, unsegmented; lateral processes separated by half their diameters or slightly more, without tubercles or setae. Ocular tubercle low, only as tall as its width; eyes small. Proboscis cylindrical, tapering distally. Abdomen moderately long, with 2 lateral setae. Chelifores robust, with few distal setae; chelae palms oval; fingers short, well curved, without teeth. Oviger second segment robust, about half as long as third. Legs with few setae; major dorsodistal setae not as long as segment diameters; cement gland tube short, less than half segment diameter; propodus robust, well curved, with 2 major heel spines, 2 setae, and very short distal sole lamina; claw slender; auxiliaries minute, sometimes lacking (Ref. 2115, p. 53).
