Diagnosis Cuticular bristles with longitudinal striations present in serially arranged patches on trunk segments 1 to 11. Segments 4, 6, 8 to 11 with middorsal spines; segment 2 with lateroventral short acicular spine; segments 2 and 8 with lateral accessory cuspidate spines; segments 4 to 6 and 9 with ventrolateral cuspidate spines; segments 8, 9 and 11 with lateral terminal spine; segment 11 with midterminal and lateral terminal accessory spines. Acicular middorsal and subdorsal spines present on segment 10, but are more flexible in males and appears segmented or moniliform in their distal ends. Lateral terminal accessory spines shorter than lateral terminal spines (Ref. 89132).
