Min depth from Ref. 78136 and max depth was indicated for males (Ref. 78136). In the North Sea, considered one of the largest and important boreal copepod, whose densities are highly influenced by sea surface temperature changes (Ref. 95710). Various stages of the species is present up to depths of 3000 m (males Ref. 78136) and different copepodite stages occupy different depth ranges (4th and 5th copepodite at depths 50-300 m from Ref. 78125). This species displays diel vertical migration and is concentrated in the upper water at night (Ref. 96408). Also from Refs. 78130 and 78143.
