Small. Has an oval-shaped shell. Shell surface appears smooth, with a narrow aperture that widens towards the anterior end.
Length based on occurence record; to be replaced with better reference. On soft coral hosts, from depths up to 5 meters. Feed on host tissue, sharing a similar coloration with the host (Ref. 125532).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
