توصيف مختصر ريخت شناسي
Cells are oval in valve view. Round to oval areolate on thecal surface, with trichosyst pore openings appearing as oblong depressions. The periflagellar area, a wide V-shaped depression with a flat ridge and no ornamentation, accomodates 6 pores: a large flagellar pore, an adjacent smaller auxillary pore, and 4 pores of unknown function. A narrow apical collar surrounds the flagellar and auxillary pores. Smooth intercalary band (Ref. 87175).
Associated with colored sand and coral rubble (Ref. 87175).
