In the northern Baltic Sea, it is found in sand and in eelgrass beds (Refs. 95819, 95753). A slow-moving, infaunal predatory carnivore with limited swimming capability (Refs. 95728, 95752, 96470) (Ref. 95752).

Members of the phylum Nemertea are mostly gonochoric. Life cycle: Eggs hatch and develop into short-lived lecitotrophic larvae before metamorphosing into juveniles and further into adults.
