Thickly encrusting with smooth surface. Texture is soft, fleshy and compressible; easy to tear. Reddish brown color; brighter and darker at the ectosome.
Maximum depth from Ref. 116210. Known from depths between 5 to 17 m. Encrusts empty bivalve shells and coral rubbles (Ref. 84985). Filter-feeder (Ref. 68823).
