Minimum depth based on occurrence (Ref. 2851, p. 719); to be replaced with better reference. Epibenthic (Ref. 87524). Collected from the sublittoral zone, from low tide up to a depth of 200 m and from the supralittoral and mediolittoral or intertidal zones (Ref.2754). Occurs at the low tide mark. An active suspension feeder (Ref. 96376).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
