Inhabits sand-built tubes of selected inorganic particles (Ref. 979). Exhibits ciliary filter feeding (ref. 975).

Reproduction in Sabellariidae is strictly sexual (Ref. 100435). Broadcast spawner. Larval settlement at metamorphosis are dependent on the availability of adult's cemented sand tubes (Ref. 100443).
