This is a solitary species (Ref. 19, 87872), with gonophores but no medusae. It is found in gulfs and estuaries particularly in circalittoral areas (Ref. 87872). Clay or mud dweller (Ref. 120436). Lives typically partially buried in sediments (Ref. 120437).
