توصيف مختصر ريخت شناسي
Measures 16 mm high and 13 mm wide; cruciform manubrium with a small quadrate mouth on a broad low peduncle, gonads extending out towards the 4 straight, smooth radial canals; 4 perradial tentacles and 4 interradial groups of 10-11 tentacles, all with red or purple-black ocelli on their basal bulbs; transparent umbrella with a whitish gonad and a dark line running out each perradial gonad (Ref. 2376).

Species exhibits both asexual and sexual reproduction by budding during hydroid stage and release of gametes in medusae stages (Ref. 1663, p. 13, 16).
