Colonies made up of irregular ramifications emitted in only one plan of the species, being able to reach 100 cm vertically, made up of polyps measuring 0.1 cm (Ref. 358).
Maximum depth from Ref. 125720. Habitat: Generally with side of wall or rock ground. According to the specialized works, this species is widespread in all the Mediterranean Basin (Ref. 358).

Members of the class Anthozoa are either gonochoric or hermaphroditic. Mature gametes are shed into the coelenteron and spawned through the mouth. Life cycle: The zygote develops into a planktonic planula larva. Metamorphosis begins with early morphogenesis of tentacles, septa and pharynx before larval settlement on the aboral end.
