Colonies are like small upright bushes with branches radiating from the initial point of growth. Usually cream, green or pink in color.
Found on shallow reef environments and is more common on exposed reef fronts than elsewhere (Ref. 847). Particularly found on fore-reefs (Ref. 87903) and rocky reefs (Ref. 98471).

Members of the class Anthozoa are either gonochoric or hermaphroditic. Mature gametes are shed into the coelenteron and spawned through the mouth. Life cycle: The zygote develops into a planktonic planula larva. Metamorphosis begins with early morphogenesis of tentacles, septa and pharynx before larval settlement on the aboral end.
