Abundant in rocky bottom biocenoses (where most of their hosts thrive). Found attached to the periproct of a host to reach its less protected soft parts (Ref. 96538). Known from seamounts and knolls (Ref. 3477).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
