Found on seagrass beds, i.e., Halimeda sp., and coral species, i.e., Porites sp. and Madracis sp. (Ref. 86568). It is known from intertidal areas (Ref. 83942).

Adults produces pluteus larvae (Ref. 86568). This species has a planktonic larval phase with an unknown duration (Ref. 86634).
