Found among algae, on rocks and piers in intertidal to shallow subtidal zones (Ref. 966). Also on rubble (Ref. 116109). Epifaunal, infaunal, surface crawler, freely burrowing (Ref. 111248). Nemerteans are typical predators, feeding on a variety of invertebrates (Ref. 111250).

Members of the phylum Nemertea are mostly gonochoric. Life cycle: Eggs hatch and develop into short-lived lecitotrophic larvae before metamorphosing into juveniles and further into adults.
