Total Length: 79 to 89 cm (Ref. 8812). Breeds biennially from September to October in Southern Ocean islands. World population is estimated at 150,000 birds, or some 25,000 breeding pairs. Current threat is long-line fishing that kills about 4,000 birds per year (Ref. 84934).
