Collected where abundant. Shell used in shellcraft (Ref. 349). Common on various shallow water bottoms, such as grassy sand flats, coral sand or dead coral, and coral reef areas. Low in the intertidal zone and shallow subtidal levels (Ref. 349).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
