Depth range is based on occurrence in French Polynesia (Ref. 99631); to be replaced with a better reference. Found in association with various coral species (Ref. 107706), on rocks and flat surfaces (Ref. 130068). Members of the family Vermetidae are filter feeders, extracting minute planktonic organisms or detrital fragments (Ref. 349).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
