Length at first maturity / Size / Weight / Age
Maturity: Lm ?  range ? - ? cm Max length : 0.6 cm SHL male/unsexed; (Ref. 3442); common length : 5.5 cm SHL male/unsexed; (Ref. 3442)
Shell is small, slender, moderately curved, strong and white. Increase in shell diameter is very slight with no conspicuous swelling. Greatest diameter located near the anterior aperture. Apical shell nearly circular, cut by four deep notches, forming four triangular lobes: lobe on convex side is slightly longer, lobe on concave side truncated and two lateral lobe. External surface appears smooth under optical microscope but papillated at higher magnifications. Anterior aperture subcircular, slightly depressed and oblique.
Depth range based on type locality (Ref. 3442); to be replaced with a better reference.
