Sometimes used as food, but mainly collected for its decorative shell (Ref. 349). Also on limestone cliffs. High in the intertidal zone, well above high levels of neap tide (Ref. 349).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
