This species is found in fresh, brackish and marine supra- and intertidal areas, of bays and coves, coral reefs, coastal lagoons, mangroves, and estuaries. They are seen in ascidian, mud, sand, rock, seagrass and shell habitats (Ref. 83934).

Members of the order Neritopsina are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
